The thieves in Penang sure has a new fetish for religious symbols. First the statue of Mother Mary and now a priceless brass statue of Buddha.

As understood, a thief will go to hell and have his hands amputated or possibly get fried in a hot wok of boiling oil. Didn’t their parents tell them that? Ok, if they are Chinese lah. Other religion I don’t know. Ok at least Christianity will ask the thief to repent and get forgiven by the Lord. But still!? Why steal from temples, churches, kuils or even mosques???

Where is their respect? It’s like breaking into someone’s house and abduct his mother or father. Anyway, good luck with them cuz I believe they will be tracked down pretty soon.
