My hubby is going off to Japan this weekend. Yay! I am going to have a free weekend. Well, not that I would like to meet up with someone. I can’t wait to have the whole house to myself and enjoy not having to rush to make dinner, iron clothes he needs, pick after his mess (errrrrr he’s not so messy just that he tends to forget to pick up after himself … MEN!), no one pushing me to bed at 11pm, … bottom line, a break is all I need. Some quietness, some peace. One little fella is good enough. Two would be too much sometimes. Hubby and son = two!
I plan to just stay in and go online the whole day. Since the weather forecast said it’s gonna snow a little on Saturday. Not sure if there’s any at all on Sunday. Guess, it’s just gonna be sleet rather than snow. As long as it’s not gonna be any hail storm, I really don’t give a damn! Except when it’s snowing a lot and it’s gonna stay until next March. That would be mean my battle begins … with the kids in the neighborhood. Not going to elaborate on this, will blog about it abit later. Let’s msn, if you’re online this weekend. ![]()

Gotta go out now for some fresh air. My boy is pleading for me to take him out
He hasn’t been out for days because it was rainy, wet and windy. Don’t want him to catch a cold. We heard that the local clinics are giving flu shots to little children for free. So, we’re gonna check it out soon. Well, why don’t you check out too? It’s better to take prevention rather than to be sick in this miserable dark weather. Will be back for more blogging … so … are you all set for the Halloween party tonight?

Wishing all who believes in Halloween a fun filled night. Little children will get lots of treat or else the adults will be tricked! It was a never-to-be-missed celebration during my uni days in the US. It was fun seeing little children, sometimes adults too, going around the neighborhood, holding lanterns made of pumpkins, in a little procession. I was always thinking like “WOW! Their moms are creative. Will I be able to do that for my child?” Well, now I know the answer … NOPE … I don’t have enough of patients to carve that clownish face on the big and thick pumpkin shell. Anyway, trick or treat … enjoy your halloween. Once in a year in disguise … isn’t that exciting?

Anyone recall Mimaland? Have you been to Mimaland before? There were so much to do in Mimaland. Boat rides, picnic areas, swimming pool, resort, fishing … there’s just so much to do there. Just where the heck is Mimaland, you must be wondering. Mimaland WAS a recreation park just outside KL city, beautifully located in the hills of Gombak. It’s a nice drive all the way because of the scenic kampung (rural) views. Traditional attap houses with their own distinct architecture. Chickens and ducks, sometimes even kambing (goats), were seen running around the side of the road. Well, sometimes, we almost run over some *lol*
