Who is destroying it now?
Sounds more like they want this dictator style ruling to end. Who wants to destroy their own country? Or do you mean they are trying to destroy YOU, the government? The government get the notion of these demos all wrong. All they are asking for is a more justified treatment and ruling. Fair and transparent electoral voting. Not to bring BN down. With all the unnecessary retaliation from them, it surely made it look ugly. They have failed themselves. Not the demos, not the rakyat. I wish to highlight a few crappy statements in the following news. Ponder about it.
PM: They want to destroy the country

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) is attempting to destroy the country with its actions. He also slammed those who tarnish the name of Malaysia overseas and described them as people who do not love the country.
It’s because they love the country, they want to continue to live here. That’s why they are fighting for a change.
In an obvious reference to Hindraf chairperson P Waythamoorthy, Abdullah said those who solicit support from outsiders are traitors.
If there’s nothing else their own government can do for their plea, seeking a second help is not wrong. Or else? Sit back and cry over the rejection?
“This is a betrayal of our country. Was there ethnic cleansing? There was nothing about wiping out the Indians in the country,” he was quoted as saying by Bernama.
The premier said the people are angry at those who go overseas to seek support and cook up baseless allegations.
Who are the people? DEFINE the people.
“Actually they don’t love the country, they only hunger for power and don’t care about what happens to the country,” he added.
Is this a sign that they are afraid?
Abdullah said that those who were obsessed with their views did not care about the consequences of their acts.
“We are the ones who have to face everything. We have to defend the peace and well-being of the people,” he said.
Maybe he meant, WE (rakyat) have to face everything – to digest all their shits because they will not back down on us. We have to live by their rules by hook or by crook. Or else risk getting detained by ISA?
Waythamoorhy is currently in London canvassing for support. Previously, he was in India where he met several top politicians.
Hindraf has accused the Malaysian government of marginalising the Indians and subjecting them to ethnic cleansing.
On Nov 25, it organised a massive street rally which incurred the wrath of government leaders who later linked the movement to terrorist organisations, a charge which has been denied.
There is freedom of expression
Meanwhile, Abdullah said the country had become developed and successful based on the practice of democracy which respected and upheld the law and constitution.
Yeah, right. What democracy? What is the definition of democracy to him?
Malaysia still gave the people the freedom to voice their opinions, including in the mass media, he said.
Oh yeah, without NOT getting threatened?
“If this freedom is used in an irresponsible manner, the people will suffer,” he added.
He said that as a result of the recent street demonstrations, various sectors, especially the tourism and business sectors, had suffered losses.
He had been informed that hotels in the Bukit Bintang area had received 10 percent cancellations of room reservations because of these demonstrations.
“If already 10 percent of the bookings are cancelled, it’s a loss to the hotels. Besides, I believe that the tour agencies and tour bus operators have also received cancellations,” he said.
Like this is really their major concern?! Utter crap!
Abdullah said the Barisan Nasional-led government always listened to the views of the people which were conveyed through the proper channels like the elected representatives, associations, non-governmental organisations and certain committees.
“We carry out development according to the wishes and aspirations of the people and we practise a policy of helping all the races,” he said.
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROFL …
Earlier, the prime minister received a memorandum from the Damai Malaysia group opposing street demonstrations in the country.
Damai Malaysia, a group of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), submitted the five-page memorandum from 395 NGOs which jointly rejected street demonstrations and called on the government to take stern action against the culprits.
Sama2 abang adik!
This afternoon, the police arrested five Hindraf leaders, including its legal adviser P Uthayakumar, under the Internal Security Act.

Bad-a-wi has no business equating the UMNO led gomen of Malaysia with the nation called Malaysia.
We have every right to bad-mouth the gomen but not the nation and that is what is being done. He is just trying to bluff his way around.
It is time for this sleepy PM to go, he obviously does not respect the sanctity of Parliament. But even if we walk and march and blog every waking nanosecond of the day the dastardly BN will still be around the next 50 years if we don’t vote them out! THis is the only way he can be given the boot.

These are the real shames our no “otak” PM to Malaysia overseas.
-Appointed someone who only became a judge barely for 3 months to the 2nd most senior position in the judiciary. Don’t think he has written any judgement yet.
-Amended the constitution just for the sack of extending the tanner for one guy. The “so” obvious reason is to manipulate the electoral register for his advantage.
-Sent a minister who can’t even speak proper English to Aljazeera for interview. No one else he can trust.
-Had a minister behave like a bulldog to address the concerns raise by the Indian Hindu minister on Hindraf. Show the whole world how arrogant Malaysia can be.

My heart felt for you, Prime Minister! If you really a true angel and care about the country, then you would have silenced the likes of Ali Rustam and Hishammudin from publicly making racist statements. Don’t you think their remarks rendered you to invoke the ISA to put them away?
Just wonder who is really only hunger for power and don’t care about what happens to the country!!!
