Flu Flu Flu
Dang … my baby and I both have been down with a nasty flu for almost 5 days now. We got it two days before our flight back to Finland. We truly didn’t have a good flight as I was coughing most of the time while my baby’s nose was running profusely. It wasn’t very nice having to cough in the plane especially when the air circulation is so bad. But I was ethical enough to cover my mouth with a tissue each time I cough. Unlike most who would just turn their heads and cough in your face - they were so smart they wouldn’t cough at their loved ones’ face. Blardy unethical biatches or bastardees!
Nevertheless, since my baby was sick, I had more than enough to eat in the plane cuz I had to eat his portion too. I hate seeing or letting food to waste unnecessarily. Baby slept quite well during the flight. But we had about 2.5hours of lay over in Stockholm. That was quite horrid for me cuz instead of taking the bus from terminal 5 to terminal 2, I actually WALKED! I walked two blardy blocks (errrrrr … let me recall … 1-2- … yeps 2 blardy blocks) to Finnair check-in! After we’re done with the check-in and got our boarding passes, we proceeded to the security check - which was surprisingly easy and smooth. What’s even more surprising was the boarding gate was just right in front of the security check - phewwwww! Then my baby complained about being hungry. So I had to buy some food at Robert’s Coffee. He had one big glass of orange juice and a huge cinnamon sugared doughnut! While I had some sorta bread coated with sugar icing and nuts. Quite yummy except for three items, I paid 10euros. WTF! That is RM48 for two small pastries and an orange juice! Anyway, what can we expect from the airport?!!
Then I went shopping at the duty free and managed to get some great buys for my hubby and myself. Got us some stuff from Hugo Boss. While my boy was whining away for M&Ms. When I refused to get him the M&Ms (chocolates are bad for his teeth) - he kept shouting “Mama buy something, mama buy something!!!” Gee that was an embarrassing sight! Everyone was looking at me! Thank God, some headless chicken (small kid) fell down and cried so loud and that diverted everyone’s attention to him instead of me.
The night I arrived, I took a 20-minute hot shower - aahhhhhhh - it’s been a while and also because of the cold temperature and my flu - a hot shower was really great. After shower, I took my cough medicine right away and knocked out! As for what happened to my baby and hubby - I really didnt know.

[...] Talking about Leopard, I’ve supposedly got it months ago. Unfortunately, my hubby who went to the US at that time had totally forgotten about getting it for me. That left me with much frustration to bear because it was really cheap in the US versus here. In the US, I can get Leopard for 75euros but here I gotta pay 135euros for a copy. We’re talking about 60euros difference!!! Imagine how many times of Robert’s Coffee I can get from the airport! [...]
Take care and Get well soon!!
