Change Wind Direction + Stop the Snowfall

  • An “exhausting” day out!

Today was a shopping day for us. Hubby took a few days off because he had been working his ass off the past few days - you know like almost 24 hours for a few days. Poor thing - it hurts to see him calling every few hours and say he’s still stuck at the office - couldn’t leave yet. I think waited up two nights for him.

Anyway, today we went to Stockmann to get my luggage replaced with a new one - THANK YOU FINNAIR! Those ground handling people broke the handle of my luggage and it couldn’t be fixed. Hence, the new lugggage! Then we went to the Asian shop to replenish our groceries. Bought two “kuih bakul” - errrrrr actually they became free upon checking out at the cashier as L had already one “kuih bakul” waiting for me on her desk while I was checking out another at the cashier. I stocked up my fridge with sawi, haricot dragons or winged beans, okras, tempe, roti canai, sotong balls, buns, spring rolls and lots of gingers!

Then we went to McDonald’s for dinner - so HEALTHY!

After McD, we visited a sports shop with anticipation to get our boy a new bike as he has outgrown the last one. Unfortunately, they do not have the right size for him. So we went to Toys ‘R’ Us to get him some Thomas and Friends toys - additional railtracks, two new trains and an extension set (an engine washing building that comes with Percy). We have a happy boy for the day!

After sonny’s shopping, we went for daddy’s shopping. We got a 1 Terabyte Buffalo HDD for daddy - which I promised to pay half of its cost! Sometimes, we just have to pamper our spouse, don’t we? Now I have two happy boys for the day!

As for mommy, she only got a new luggage with compliments … uummmmm … or shall I say on the expense of Finnair *hehe*

We proceeded to Tarjoustalo for some sanitary stuff for our home. After which we went home feeling exhausted but satisfied!

PS. Pix to follow. Too lazy to post them up.
