My Leopard OS X has been sitting on the book shelf for a little over a month now. I wasn’t able to upgrade it earlier because my mom and bro were visiting at the same time I got them from my hubby who purchased them in the States.
Now that my visitors have left, I guess it’s about time I run the upgrade. BUT … I am quite afraid to run it because I am not sure whether to do a clean installation or just run the upgrade straight from the disk without cleaning up Tiger. So I searched and googled for a solution and came across this. It’s very useful, I THINK! Especially for a first class dummy like me.
I will be doing the Archive and Install and run the upgrade straight from inserting the disk without doing a massive clean up of Tiger. Since, it sounds so easy as it says … I guess there shouldn’t be any major problems. And even if there is any, I guess it’s due to some software incompatiblity glitches.
So wish me luck! I am going to do the upgrade soon!
PS. I will try to do a short review of my new love - Leopard
