I am in the process of looking for a new hosting company for my private website in which the hosting plan will expire in two months time. I am not very happy with the current hosting company because not only is their uptime disappointing, but the helpdesk or support is equally lousy and unfriendly.

Sometimes, it takes them two days to attend to my problem. Most of the time, it’s something to do with FTP or uptime issues. I have been scouring the internet for a solution - a reliable webhosting company. It’s been over a month now and I have yet to find a replacement. Just about an hour ago, I came across a site which has a list of the top ten webhosting companies. I find it really useful because it’s very informative and list out all the pros and cons. One thing I find very helpful is the users’ reviews. That truly helps me to find a reliable, trustable and responsible webhosting company. After sales service and support is essential for dummies like me.

I have been comparing and I have a few in mind which I would have to eventually decide on the final one. I’m finalizing my choice by evaluating on the price (most important) then comes the features or package. Of course, I am hoping the package would include free domain for life. *hehe* Let’s hope by next month I’m able to switch ahead of time.
