I am sure by now most of you have upgraded your Wordpress 2.5 to 2.6.

I guess I was so careless that I forgot to read the pros and cons of WP2.6 that now I am having issues with the plugin automatic update. It doesn’t update at all. I have to manually update the plugins which consumed quite a lot of my time.

Also, while doing manual update, some plugins have to be DEACTIVATED before the “new file” a.k.a “update file” is being FTPed to your server. Failing to do so, the updated plugin will not work. In my case, I see duplicate copy of the plugins. One in the “Currently Active Plugins” and the other in the “Recently Active Plugins”. Yep, you bet it’s confusing.

Other than that, I find no other issues.
