I’ve recently gotten into the habit of ordering eyewears online. It’s a trend for those of us living abroad and especially for stay-at-home moms like me. Two kids is a handful. It’s quite impossible to run daily errands at the shop nor the bank with one toddler and an infant screaming back to back. I cannot imagine the kind of serenity I’ll get having to try out eyeglasses at the shop with so much chaos from my two boys. Imagine one crying his lungs out and the other running around the shop, probably messing up the display eyewears in the shop.
During the past two years, I’ve tried out several online shops for eyeglasses. I must say I had satisfactions from a few and disappointments from one or two. Basically, the problems are with their customer service, after-sales service and quality of the frames. Besides, the price I paid for was many times the amount I paid for a pair at Zenni Optical. Yep, as recently as last month, I came across Zenni Optical. They do not only offer the best priced frames and lenses, they also offer the best after-sales service anyone could imagine. For as low as $8.00, I can have both frame and prescribed lenses. That’s not only cheap but enables me to order several pairs in different colors and designs to match with my clothes and occasions.
