wtf Sri Inai closing?!

November16

Alright, it doesn’t shock me that a private school would close down due to poor enrollment but Sri Inai has been around for decades and it’s closing down … isn’t that a waste??? By giving last minute notification to the school kids and their parents is definitely not a very considerate action. Can you believe the school sent out notifications of the school’s closure just a week ago to announce its closure by 1 Jan 2009??? That’s not ethical as the students need time to find, apply and be accepted by other schools. Besides, the school fee varies from school to school. That’s absolutely not good. There are so many aspects that these parents have to take into consideration like school fee, transportation and academic performances of their kids.

My cousins and a few friends came from that school. I believe they are equally disappointed with the decision to close the school for good. Well, well … as for the poor kids, they can opt to transfer to Sri Cempaka, Seri Suria, Sri Garden, Sri KL, Sri KDU Smart, Sri Sedaya … hmmmm what else ar? I don’t really know anymore. They cannot go to Sayfol or Fairview because those schools run on British system. To have them go (or return) to government schools would be a very difficult transition. Almost like a culture shock. Poor kids, really.
