I’ve recently gotten into the habit of ordering eyewears online. It’s a trend for those of us living abroad and especially for stay-at-home moms like me. Two kids is a handful. It’s quite impossible to run daily errands at the shop nor the bank with one toddler and an infant screaming back to back. I cannot imagine the kind of serenity I’ll get having to try out eyeglasses at the shop with so much chaos from my two boys. Imagine one crying his lungs out and the other running around the shop, probably messing up the display eyewears in the shop.

I intend to go back to work after my boys go to the daycare next year. I have been doing a lot of networking and system administration work for a friend during my 3 years being a stay-at-home mother. I have learned and picked up quite well in this field. All these are the effort of a persistent IT guru, Andy.

Good news! A lot of Top Radio Disney artists will be meeting their fans, including yourself, of course, at the upcoming Radio Disney Summer Concert Series Finale which will be held in Wildwood, New Jersey at Morey’s Piers. Among the top favorite artists are Raven-Symone of “That’s So Raven” (my favorite - she’s absolutely adorable and I just love her cute voice!), Mitchell Musso of “Hannah Montana” and Drew Seeley! All of them will be featured on 26th July 2008 at 2pm on the Oceanfront Arena Wildwoods Convention Center. Tickets are priced at $27.50, $35 and $45.

I can’t afford glasses from the shops!

I have been staying home for over five years now. Been a mommy for four wonderful years. There are ups and downs staying home to care for the family, especially my boy, and managing the welfare of the home. Bottom line, I enjoy being a stay-at-home mom basically because my boy gets first hand care from me. I am one of those mommies who do not trust anyone with taking care of my boy, unless of course it’s a close family member or a friend. Not any strangers.

I do not fancy going around a country that I visit without renting a car. I find it inconvenient to travel around by public transportation because there are so much of limitations as compared to having your own car. At least, with a rented car, I can go anywhere and at anytime I wish. I do not have to confine myself to time restrictions nor missing any spectacular places of interest. Besides, most car rental companies nowadays offer great packages and discounts from minimum 3 days car rental onwards. Most of the time, we will rent a car for one week vacation. With that we can have unlimited travel.
